On Friday, June 19, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the One-Day Open Series at Longleaf Golf & Country Club. Longleaf, home to host to many Carolinas junior and amateur events, was a wonderful course for this one-day tournament. On Sunday, June 14, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded the Commonwealth Classic at Fawn Lake Country Club. Fawn Lake, nicknamed Arnold Palmer’s “Virginia Masterpiece”, was a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event featured a field 27 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 425 members in 2014 and over 350 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
