On Friday, June 19, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the One-Day Open Series at Longleaf Golf & Country Club. On Sunday, May 24, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded the PKBGT FUTURES OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS at Sapona Ridge Country Club. Sapona Ridge, host to many Carolinas junior and amateur events, was a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event featured a field 56 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 425 members in 2014 and over 350 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf. The event was the third championship tournament of the 2015 season.
