On Saturday, August 1, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded the Commonwealth Classic at Lexington Golf & Country Club. The course is home to Washington & Lee University golf teams and was a great course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field of 12 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 375 members in 2013 and 262 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.

On Monday, July 28, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the One-Day Open Series at Forest Oaks Country Club. One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf.
