On Saturday-Sunday, April 1-2,  the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the North Carolina Classic at Sapona Ridge Country Club. Sapona Ridge, host to many Carolinas junior and amateur events, is a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 59 players for this event. 
Winning the Prep Series with two solid rounds of 79-76-155 was Madison Isaacson (Greensboro, NC 2018). In second place was Caroline Duggan (Holly Springs, NC 2019) with rounds of 81-77-158.  In a three-way tie for third place with 159 totals were Mackenzie …

On Sunday, May 17, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the One-Day Open Series at Pinehurst Resort No. 9. The course, host of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship Sectional Qualifier in June, was a beautiful course for the second One-Day Open Series tournament of the season. One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf.
