On Sunday, April 6, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded the Wolfpack Classic at Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State. Lonnie Poole, home to the North Carolina State University men’s and women’s golf teams proved a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event featured a field of 80 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 375 members in 2013 and 262 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.

On Sunday, March 30, the 2014 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded the Boar’s Head Inn Classic at Birdwood Golf Course at UVA. Birdwood, home to the University of Virginia men’s and women’s golf teams was an excellent course for this two-day tournament. The weather was grueling this weekend with gusting winds, rain, and cold temperatures, but despite the less than ideal conditions, the girls played hard and finished strong.
