On Saturday-Monday, May 27-29, the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the PKBGT BELL OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS at Country Club of Salisbury. Salisbury, home of the Catawba College women’s golf team, is a tricky course for this three-day tournament. The event features a field 92 players from Bell and Futures Series of the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour . The event, ranked by the GolfWeek/Titliest national rankings, is the third championship tournament of the 2017 season.

On Saturday, May 20, the 2017 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the second event of the North Carolina One-Day Series of the 2017 season at Monroe Country Club. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The Women’s South Carolina Golf Association Junior Foundation and the Green Valley Country Club will host the Green Valley Girls Classic on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21. On Sunday, May 7, the 2017 the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour plays the Maryland Classic at Laytonsville Golf Course in Gaithersburg, MD.  It is the first time that the PKBGT has hosted an event at the course.  The weather cleared out and gave way to sunny skies for the final round. 
Winning the Bell Series was Elizabeth Coffren (Owings, MD 2020)  after an exciting playoff against Diana Cristina Domenech (Richmond, VA 2018). Both girls shot a 152 total after trading scores from the first day.  Coming  in third place …
